We really love this Handmade Piece artwork, Vermeer's The Girl with a Pearl Earring. The craftsmanship by the artist is exquisite and stunning, with very careful attention to precise detail in the original, which we have seen personally. The artist captured every artistic aspect, particularly the highlight reflections on the subject’s lips, the sparkle in her eyes, and the excellent reflected detail on the pearl itself. The subject line, pose, and skilled color selection, particularly for her skin tone and headdress, is especially well done, with striking fidelity to Vermeer’s original work. The artist has completely captured the timeless beauty and mystery of this Baroque Dutch masterwork; we plan on selecting more artworks from Handmade Piece in the future.
