You never know what you are going to get with the internet, but after reading reviews on handmadepiece.com, I decided to risk it. I am so glad I did. Wow! What a beautiful painting!! Monica and her team were able to not just replicate perfectly, but actually shift the coloring to a nuanced neutral palate I wanted. I am so impressed and just in love with the work I received. Will without doubt be ordering more in the future.

The process was easy to follow. Response time short. all in all very professional. The reason why only 4 stars is the frame I had I chose turned out to be unavailable. Suggestion: minimum of two picture-examples of the frames. In relative terms the frames make up a large part of the purchase. It's hard to visualize the end-product with the frame.

Completely won over I was initially skeptical that this painting could be easily reproduced, but was truly impressed by the results! The reproduction is near-perfect, really lovely. I'm equally impressed by the professionalism of the studio itself -- my questions were all answered quickly, the painting was completed and delivered in just three weeks, and the slight adjustment to the proportions that I'd requested was carried out with no problem. I gave the artist what I thought might be confusing or strange instructions. I asked him to paint one painting in the style of another. (Carlo Dolci's portrait of St Philip Neri in the style of William Ouless' John Henry Newman). He nailed it as far as I am concerned.
