Are your paintings hand-painted with oil on canvas?
Yes. All artworks listed on HandmadePiece will be hand painted by real artists, with oil on canvas.
Besides oil paint, do you use other mediums?
By default we use oil paint. Mediums we have used upon customers' requirements: graphite, acrylic, gouache, pastel and more, on canvas and other type of materials. Just contact us before ordering if you have your specific requirements.
Does my painting come with "www.handmadepiece.com" on it, just as shown by your product image?
No. The finished paintings will not bear "www.handmadepiece.com". Our site name is limited to website only and it's used to protect our website from being abused. So no worries.
Can I order a different size?
Sure. We'd love to make one for you. We have handled extra small sizes, extra large sizes and non-standard sizes.
Can I have my painting distressed?
Normally most customers don't require cracked, aged or distressed art. If you wish, however, let us know.
Do I need to pay extra duties and taxes?
Most of our orders are received untaxed. We will try and help to bring down the duties and taxes or avoid them but we can't be 100% sure. If your shipping address is in US, however, almost no duties or taxes are charged, according to our experience. Paying duties and taxes are buyers' responsibility when buying art from a different country but the amount should not be too much so as to kill the fun of ordering art.
Can I order a different version other than the one listed?
Sure. Send us your image(s). By default, an oil painting will be made just as shown on the corresponding artwork page. Do tell us should you need a different version, such as a version with more vibrant colors, or the photograph you have taken from a museum.
You say money back. Is your refund partial or 100%?
100% for unsatisfying result or service, or damaged package. HandmadePiece is a business built on trust. We are good only when you say good and the last thing we want is loss on your side due to us.
I'm still not sure. Can I use down payment?
It's understandable. So why not? Let us know and we will consider it.
